This notice is to inform you of an upcoming distribution of the total package increase of $1.49 that was negotiated in 2016.
As you may be aware Healthcare costs continue to rise and the stock market continues to be unpredictable. Therefore, the bargaining parties have been paying close attention to the needs of the funds associated with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The bargaining parties reached out to the Joint Labor/ Management Trustees of the Health & Welfare and Pension trusts of Western Washington for recommendations to increase the benefit contributions to improve the funding and/or benefits of the funds.
