At the May 20, 2017 quarterly meeting delegates voted to make our organization a sanctuary organization by adopting the following declaration:
We declare that the PNWRCC is a sanctuary organization that welcomes, defends, and fights to protect immigrants. We publicly affirm that we will neither collect nor reveal immigration or citizenship status except where required by law, and we will not cooperate with or assist any immigrant detention or deportation efforts or actions.
