➤ If my kids are out of school and I have to take care of them, do I qualify for unemployment?

Sadly, no. If you leave work without a reason due to the employer you are disqualified from receiving unemployment. Right now, lack of childcare because of school closures is not considered a fault on the part of the contractor or employer. If you are unable or unavailable for work, this also means you do not meet the requirements to apply for unemployment benefits.
