2017 Impact Report

Representing more than twenty-two thousand carpenter union members, the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters strives to uplift and redefine the construction industry through thoughtful advocacy and activism. Our union has come a long way, and the results you read in the 2017 Impact Report would not be possible without the participation of our membership. We look forward to continued engagement and growth.

PNWRCC has many women in our crafts and leadership positions.

Margaret Ellings became the first woman initiated into the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in October 1935. The establishment of a women’s committee within the United Brotherhood of Carpenters is one of the most important developments in the union’s recent history. Visit ubcsisters.org
